I was treatment experienced, having been diagnosed in 1985 and in Baltimore, was put on a three pill regimen that included Tivicay. When I moved to Alabama, the clinic did a resistance test and found out I was resistant to two of the three drugs, with only the Tivicay being non-resistant. By that time, I had been on this regimen for 6 months with complete suppression, suggesting that Tivicay alone had carried me without developing resistance for six months.
