as I read this article my thoughts were that if this USB can test viral load it should also be able to test for HIV itself, high viral load as to no viral load detected should mean that the person is not infected I think that this technology providing that it works on the same principle as a diabetic blood sugar test with disposable strips then it would be a step towards national screening and eventually the end of HIV or at least a reduction of new cases
