Full-time position is available for a responsible, self-motivated, dynamic, and outgoing individual to join our team. Responsibilities include conducting HIV, syphilis and sexually transmitted infections testing and prevention activities focusing on gay, bisexual and other men who have sex with men, in a clinic and outreach setting; educating men who have sex with men and other community members about HIV/STI prevention; actively recruiting and developing volunteers; participating in a condom distribution campaign; and performing administrative and other duties. Other responsibilities will be to assist senior navigator identifying eligible PrEP Care Program candidates, engaging in conversations about the program, and proving PrEP testing.

Successful candidates should be able to interact with the gay/lesbian/bisexual/transgender community with ease, retain the ability to handle a moderate to heavy workload, be detail-oriented and lift 25-50 lbs., work flexible hours (some late nights and weekends required), and establish and maintain working relationships with diverse people, the community, and businesses. Experience with Microsoft computer applications is required.

Qualification and experience in Foundations of Counseling and Testing (FCT) or Protocol-Based Counseling and Testing (PBC) is preferred, but will train the right candidate. Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; some college is preferred.

Valid Driver’s license and access to reliable transportation required. Mileage reimbursed.
